The weather is definitly better and everyone should make it to market this week. Fresh Mushrooms from Bella Vita Mushroom will be at market along with Ms. Sue's baby curly kale and turnip greens along with green onions, spinach, and dinosaur kale.
Our canners and bakers have been busy as well. Robillard Farm has fresh ground wheat bread, Robert's Sweets and Treats will have fried pies, and That Foreign Chick's Bakery has an assortment of baked goods and breads. Look for Suga's pimento cheese varieties as well.
Morning Glory Farm, Ms. Sue, and Dewey all have canned goods from jams and jellies to pickles and chow-chow. Pickled eggs and veggies along with soups and syrups.
Morning Glory Farm and Timberland Farm can take care of your locally produced meat needs with grass-fed beef along with pork, chicken, and lamb. Farm fresh eggs, local honey, and boiled p-nuts will also be in attendance.
Baked French Toast will be featured in the cooking demo using farm fresh eggs, locally baked bread, and homemade fruit syrups. See you at market!
