Market Preview February 22, 2018 - Every Thursday 2-6pm in Downtown Rockmart

Spreading Oaks Farm is still re-building and Donald has sold the last of his winter squashes but there will still be plenty of fresh local choices at market this week.

Bella Vita Mushrooms will be at market with fresh mushrooms and Morning Glory Farms has sweet potatoes. Several of our canners including Ms. Sue have canned the local goodness from summer and will have soups, pickles, jellies, syrups, and relishes. Timberland Farms will have all the cuts of grass-fed beef and look for pork, chicken, lamb, and beef from Morning Glory as well.

The bakers have also been busy for winter markets and will have plenty of fresh baked breads and treats. That Foreign Chick's Bakery has been trying out new breads and Roberts Sweets and Treats will be there with their fried pies. Also look for Suga's pimento cheese and Brooke's pet milk and fresh ground wheat bread along with Footehills Farms homemade soaps, beauty products, and fresh herbs.
